Euro Leagues

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as the heavyweight contenders in this season's Champions League after both claimed impressive victories during the week. PSG dispatched Manchester City with clinical finishing, while Barcelona picked apart Galatasaray with the kind of attacking intent that suggests they could genuinely trouble anyone left in the competition. The pair's form heading into the latter stages makes them the teams oddsmakers and punters should be watching closely.
Manchester United had to manage some unwanted headlines when Lisandro Martinez publicly criticized technical director Jason Wilcox, though the player later offered an apology to the club's hierarchy to smooth things over. It's the kind of noise that can distract a squad during a crucial period, and how effectively United move past it could shape their own campaign momentum.
Bayern Munich's stalemate with Viking raised eyebrows—plenty to unpack there, including Michael Olise's red card that altered the game's trajectory. On the brighter side for Bayern, word is Harry Kane has agreed to extend his contract through 2029, suggesting the club remains committed to competing at the highest level with their star striker leading the charge.
Elsewhere, Rayo Vallecano's fixture against Athletic Club was disrupted when supporters threw paper planes and bouncy balls onto the pitch—a protest that derailed the match's flow and highlighted tensions between fans and the club's direction. These kinds of incidents can derail teams mid-season when focus is everything.
