Brighton Manager Hurzeler Marries German Actress Anna In Private Ceremony
Retold by Oddsrama · 21 October 2026
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has married German actress Anna Karolin Berger in a quiet, private ceremony during the recent international break, according to reports. The 33-year-old German tactician and his long-time partner exchanged vows away from the spotlight, keeping the celebration intimate. Hurzeler was spotted sporting a wedding ring during Brighton's recent 5-0 demolition of Crystal Palace, giving the first public hint at the news.
The couple have managed a long-distance relationship for some time, juggling Hurzeler's managerial duties on the south coast with Berger's career in Munich. They've occasionally shared glimpses of their relationship on social media, including holiday snaps from Mauritius and outings to high-profile events like the FIFA World Cup and Austrian Grand Prix. Their commitment through the distance suggests they've found ways to make it work despite their demanding schedules.
Hurzeler's personal milestone comes at a career high. The Brighton boss has emerged as one of Europe's brightest young managers, steering the Seagulls to European qualification last season and currently sitting third in the Premier League table—behind only Manchester City and Arsenal. With the club performing at this level and his stock rising rapidly in the game, a stable home life could be exactly what the tactician needs as Brighton pushes for honours. For betting purposes, managerial stability and personal contentment often correlate with consistent tactical performance, so this development could bode well for Brighton's odds as the season progresses.
